Last Of The Record Buyers: Optiks
For those that don’t know, Last Of The Records (LRB) started as a monthly night in the Twin Cities, by Big Quarters & Kevin Beacham, for Local Producers to bring down their beats on CD/IPOD and get 3 minutes to showcase. As well as give established producers a forum to do extended showcases/performances. It’s a excellent networking opportunity with other producers, MCs in need of production, and the fans.
As we go in go into our 3rd year of LRB we are ready to expand to a more global operation. LRB will be a regular section of the FE Blog and will feature video interviews, studio session sit-ins, studio walk throughs, beat making tutorials, and all things Production related with a variety of legendary, established, and/or upcoming producers from around the world!
Up first, Optiks is a producer based in Brooklyn, NY; Scribble Production Battle Champion and Producer for Blitz The Ambassador, X:144, Kap Kallous, Caveman Theory, John Connor, Rob Murat, etc…
